The Rule 300mm has incremental millimetre marks to both long edges so the rule can be used to measure from the left or right. The back of the long edge of the rule has a bevel to minimise ink smudging. The rule also includes a 30mm end face. The other end has two arcs so the rule can align with the outside of either of our Protractors. The two arcs allow the rule to be positioned to either side of the preferred edge to be marked and aligns to the centre point. The Rule also includes central dimensions that are from the two arcs end and allow for measurements from the edge or the protractor outwards.

The markings are all etched in to ensure they cannot be worn away over time and the back face is painted black to allow the pieces to move around smoothly on notepads and drawing paper.
